Day 1: Le Chapelier wins first 2 races

For this first day of the Viper World Championship, 3 races have been sailed. Emmanuel Le Chapelier and Eric le Bouedec (FRA299) win the first 2 races and so are at the first place of the general results. Results before jury are on line on our website. They will be updated a little later with updates from the race committee and the jury.

Last clouds disappeared this morning and the wind was steady from West around 10 knots like yesterday. This is ideal conditions for racing. The first start have been given on time but a few boat missed the starting procedure. They manage to pass the line before it close but they have lost up to 4 minutes. FRA299 finished the first race in about 40 minutes. Next to races needed a general recall. On the second start of the second race, Brett Goodall have been disqualified due to the black flag rule (30.3)
